View activities and birthdays at a glance
Overview
The Calendar provides a visual overview of your organization's activities and member birthdays. Navigate between months, click on events to view details, and subscribe to the calendar feed from your favorite calendar app.
Key Features
Calendar Grid
- Month View - Full month displayed in a grid format
- Today Highlight - Current date is prominently highlighted
- Activity Badges - Activities shown as colored badges on their dates
- Click to View - Click any activity to go to its detail page
Navigation
- Previous/Next - Navigate between months with arrow buttons
- Month/Year Display - Current month and year shown in header
- URL-based - Month/year stored in URL for easy sharing
Member Birthdays
Members with birthdays are displayed on the calendar:
- Birthday icon appears on the date
- Hover or click to see which members have birthdays
- Side panel shows all birthdays for the month
- Click a member name to view their profile
Side Panels
The calendar includes helpful side panels:
- Activities This Month - List of all activities with dates
- Birthdays This Month - All member birthdays sorted by date
iCal Feed (Subscribe)
Subscribe to your organization's calendar from any calendar app:
- Click "Get Calendar Link" to generate a subscription URL
- Copy the iCal URL
- In your calendar app (Google, Apple, Outlook), add a calendar by URL
- Paste the URL and subscribe
What's included: All activities with dates, times, and locations, plus member birthdays as all-day events.

Tips
- Add birthdays to member profiles to see them on the calendar
- Share the iCal link with members so they can subscribe
- The calendar feed updates automatically - no need to re-subscribe
- Use the calendar to plan events and avoid scheduling conflicts
